While I would love to submit my suggestion directly to Runescape
I ate a swordfish while I continued to fight the Revenant. I prayed, and tried to flee. However, the prayer was not working! The freeze spell was too powerful. Despite still having many swordfish RS 2007 Gold, I could not escape from the Revenant’s freeze spell without prayer + leaving. I was terrified and attempted to escape, but the prayer finally broke the freeze spell.
Then I went up to att/str/def/hp about. 70 per. It was stated that mage/range must be used on Revenants. I packed my best mage stuff (Orb Project complete costume and magic staff, lots of runes and Earth Blast) and plenty of prayer points (Earth Blast), full food inventory, and also took a Falador teleport (1 3 air + water = law). I was all set to go to the Dark Warrior's Fortress. I was watching out for Revenants. I was also prepared to defend myself using mage+prayer when necessary.
In the Dark Warrior's Fortress, I had only a few seconds' notice of the level 53 Revenant coming down the halls. I turned on the prayer in order to get Earth Blast ready. But, the Revenant was running 15 HP per turn! I ran away 8 squares and prayed, but the Revenant was still hitting 10-15 HP per time, even though it was many squares away from me! I didn't have time to eat food to counter the HP loss. Anyone who said mage was the only way to defeat Revenants is wrong. I discovered it was not. Level 75 and 65 Revenants hit 8-10 HPs with fully Rune armor, whereas Level 53 Revenants had much higher HP.
The panic that I realized that mage wasn't the best choice probably didn't hinder my mouse clicks when I tried to decide between casting Earth Blast against the Revenant or trying to consume food. The Revenant was now hitting at 20 HP. I was unable to locate the an emergency Falador Teleport. I was able to find myself in Falador, with 6 HP. What a huge relief I felt that I took the Falador Teleport Runes OSRS Fire Cape for sale! The moral of the story is that F2P should stay clear of Wilderness and its Revenants. (With possible exception to the dash that stands for Fist of Guthix.
