There is an increase population of PSO players
Been playing pso2 and thinking every now and then due to PSO2 Meseta. I haven't had the desire to jump back to pso yet but wondering for people playing if PSO2 cause any population increase in pso. Since some here are discussing expertise, which are great and fun to read, I'll add my own. So when PSO GC arrived about, it really opened a new world of possibility, when climbing up, I was a gamer. I created a modest dressed RAcaseal, my first character 09 and Zenneth a HUnewearl. PSO ep3 guy me and came out and all my friends were frustrated. Great match but if have been a franchise.
After playing PSO for approximately 6? Years I got really burnt from it. I am still somewhat burnt out of however I think in a year or 2 I will be prepared to jump back in after all the years. After PSO PSU was attempted by me. Man that was such a disappointment. PSO BB came out a little while after. However, the balance was so out of wack. However, I believe ep4 should happen to be ep3 rather at least. Fast forward to 2012 and seeing PSO 2 trailers and playing PSO2, it really felt a true PSO successor, not just in PSO2play but the graphics style and movement.
PSO2 though was only in JP and even though there was a fantastic english patch, there were still a lot of text which was not translated and that only took me from PSO2 too much to enjoy it. Appreciating PSO2 a Good Deal. I like logging in playing and everyday PSO2, complete quests, UQ or anything else that has to be done plus with friends is super nice. I've a feeling though that when it had been released earlier I would like it but nevertheless satisfied. I think that the most important reason why because I was attempting to find mmos that could fill that PSO2 hole and I started to like semi/open world with dungeons that PSO2 does not really have.
PSO feels like a mix of stunt moves while using the quicker attack such as PSO2. I really do like the"slower" gameplay of PSO though. Wish they could release an updated version of PSO using a little more in depth gameplay whilst keeping movements about the same. Almost certainly. The franchise is really on the radar and that will only help numbers. Hell, I personally have thought about busting out my DC or GC for some old school fun.
Just as I'm enjoying the NA PSO2 experience, it is not possible to overstate how impactful PSO eps 1 and two were on me and just how much nostalgia and joy it evokes.PSO2's story may be more psychological then what PSO was capable of communicating, however nothing in PSO2 could ever capture the raw childhood terror of that very first Hildebear jumping along with your lvl 5 newcomer, or the fear evoked by seeing De Rol Le leap onto the stage and stab you with its tendril pieces. Bar Lodos is Only a Visit to Captain D's. Along with the ruins. Oh god the ruins. Dark Belras sniping you from throughout the area, Del Sabers jump and buy meseta pso2 hammering the shit outta you.
