Regardless of your advertising to Guildmaster
Oh Tony... what are you up to now?!
As soon as I consented to forfeit my subjects, my wealth, and my not inconsiderable knowledge to your crackpot expedition, it was on the understanding that we would be discovering the fate of our ancestors, the vampyre strike force that bravely gave their lives for Lord Zamorak. So maybe you can explain why your little'Time Sprites' keep leading us into icyene
Regardless of your advertising to Guildmaster I must remind you that the icyene were our enemies during the God Wars. Suffering as you do from your mortal lifespan, I suppose you can't comprehend the problem this could cause, but let me assure you that a glimpse of our violent past is the last thing that our delicate alliance requirements. And a few old bones will be the least of your concerns when I find out you had anything to do with that blasted lighthouse! I am assuming that you knew nothing about it: which is, incidentally, the reason your blood is still sitting comfortably on the interior. Pay attention.
We discovered that more of the Time Sprites were going out to sea a week ago and to be truthful I expected that could be the last we saw of them. Then while I had been attempting to find some beauty sleep, then they began shining, horribly brightly. Obviously, it's too bright for me to get a good look but my sources have told me that this thing is the Everlight, an icyene symbol of hope.
More importantly, that celestial lighting is making life very hard for us, and as you're the one who brought this misery in our lives, I am making it your responsibility to eliminate it. Do not disappoint me. I don't care that you involve or what you need to do. Just. Turn. It. Off. Aaargh! Can't I only have one dig site without any attached that is rubbish that is supernatural? I accepted the advertising to Guildmaster my lot would be calmer and that others would busy themselves! Angry vampyres? Buildings? I've been Guildmaster one for all week and I feel out of my depth.
The lighthouse -- and the Everlight within it -- played an essential role in ancient Saradominist culture, and this website could shed some light (haha!) On a period of history we'd thought was lost to us. Also, but a few histories have it the light comes with a power of its own... that is something which could prove very helpful in these troubled times. So there you have it! The hope of the icyene, everlight, has improved again! What other wonders might its light illuminate? Join us next week for the fifth -- and final -- Runescape Archaeology Journal, where we'll be looking at something called the Infernal Source.
