You want a World Of Warcraft account to play Classic
I've been clean for six years. Since I needed to indulge myself I would spend every waking hour thinking about it, I'd cancel nights outside. I called in sick to work on occasions, so I could spend more time with my mistress. As did my spouse who had a connection with her I purchased a new notebook.
He and I joked about starting up our connection again, possibly. It happened. While I was on the train coming home, he messaged me. He had downloaded World Of Warcraft and was playing classic (so he said). He had succumbed. I requested him to put in it and sliced.
When I got home the following day, after thinking about my love the entire day, I realised he wasn't enjoying Classic, he was enjoying normal World Of Warcraft. I were surprised the classic variant was liberated, and it turned out it was not. You want a World Of Warcraft account to play Classic. I was faced with a pick, play regular World Of Warcraft for free, play with Classic with a new account or play Classic with my accounts. I didn't wish to shell out money on a brand new account when my old one was sat there with my progress and I really wanted to play Classic, not ordinary. Gaining access to my account appeared like the only viable option.
For about half an hour I was checking my mails every five minutes to see whether they had responded. I realised it might take some time so I decided to watch Twitch and find someone playing World Of Warcraft Classic so I could have a look. I discovered someone doing a raid on Zul'Gurrub. I watched them clear bosses and mobs and it began flooding back. The memories of the group of adventurers waiting in anticipation for the loot fall and taking on managers, hoping it'd be for you. The crafting and also the collecting, the levelling and the massive world to explore. It was so tempting and exciting. Then they declared the raid and replicated what they'd just done, hoping for a drop that was different. And that I had a moment of clarity -- what in the world am I doing?
I don't see Twitch. In fact, I'm pretty vocal on the whole'watch somebody else perform' scenario. Why would I see someone playing myself and I could be playing? She had consumed me. I had spent the whole day in a state of excitement not experienced because Skyrim VR came to my life, and read articles, watching Twitch. But I was saved by that moment of clarity. From the time Blizzard had reacted to my email, I had decided I could dip my toe back in. It appears that with World Of Warcraft, I'm either in or not in whatsoever. I had appreciated the diversity of games and had returned to my games roots. Can I really need to spend another five years hunched over a laptop repeating exactly the same quests (daily quests -- I despise you!) And the very same dungeons?
I am quite jealous my spouse can just do a battleground that is quick -- at no cost -- and not spend his life exploring strategies and personality builds. He is still playing with now. I call him a temptress each time he does. Nonetheless, it's clear for me I can't do exactly the same. I came through a challenging evaluation (partly due to Blizzard's dreadful customer service!) And that I can say I will never venture into Azeroth. Then you might never hear from me unless it belongs VR.
