I truly wouldn't be surprised if maddens whole business program is to continuously driving new lovers to the NFL instead of keep long time madden players because let us be honest ( a lot of long time players are now adults that only play Madden 21 ever so often so we shall probably buy Mut Coins Madden 21 regardless). Also the NFL has made money off the Longterm madden players through time, we have observed Madden 21s on tv to keep the tv revenue up, some have bought the jerseys etc., so the deal between madden along with the NFL would be to get drive new lovers our way and they are doing that now with things like MUT, which is essentially a popularity contest and the celebrity mode (play as DJ Khalid, Yachty, amigos etc now you're reaching for those guys fans who may not have played madden or even heard of it.
You man. I like franchise style and MUT. I bitch about UT but I am also a part of the problem when it comes to franchise mode dying while UT takes off. My 2 best friends went difficult on squads last year and won a few Super Bowls together. In all honesty, it was a whole lot of fun. Then I sit back and realize that between us 3, all grownup IT professionals with no kids, we probably spent north of $1,000 jointly to"improve" our experience. then I go and try to play a solo experience in offline franchise like the previous days and see how fucking terrible and not enjoyable it's become. I guess a part of my disdain for UT is it did not need to come to this. I am unhappy and I feel bad that I helped bring to the passing of this true simulation game that we all grew up loving. Honest to god pain in my heart and that I regret what I've helped contribute to. EA played hard. I don't regret the great times we had but I feel it ultimately ruined the product.
I ai not mad at ya at all lol. I performed MUT for 2 years 17-18 and built a 99 ovr team both times without spending and putting a great deal of hours into. Now I'm a parent myself so that time has cut short and once I buy madden it's only because me and my brothers play online along with Cheap Mut 21 Coins trash talk each other every weekend and frankly that is why I buy it every year as it keeps us in communication with each other since we are in various states with families, kids etc. But don't be hard on yourself. MUT Players are not the reason why Franchise has been bare and here's proof: 2K comes with an UT known as myteam which is terribly worst than maddens from the microtransactions section.
